I have two personalities. For most of the year, I live my life as an elder emo. My wardrobe is almost exclusively black, I listen to the same songs I’ve been listening to since I was an angsty teenager and I still proudly rock the side fringe.

But the moment I open my eyes on November 1st, my second personality emerges! Because I am a life-long Christmas Obsessive! Suddenly my wardrobe is all kitchy Christmas T-shirts with kittens in Santa hats, I have to wear oversized red bows in my hair and the whole house is subjected to my carefully curated Christmas playlist on repeat!

And when I’m excited, I make! The past years have seen me make DIY Christmas Crackers, t-shirts, personalised gifts, ornaments, bunting and my own stamped wrapping paper just to name a few.

Flash back to 2023 when I made my own foam stamps and hand printed Christmas wrapping paper

But this year is extra special because for the first time, my Mum has passed the torch and I AM HOSTING! I’ve decided on a Christmas Bakery theme in pinks, greens and reds. I am absolutely bursting with ideas on what I want to make so from now until the end of my very favourite season, I’m going to be sharing all the things I’m making.

Last year’s labour of love was designing and making Christmas shaker tags in 8 different designs
A project I’ll definitely be revisiting this year – DIY Christmas Bon-Bons!

I’m already months behind where I should have been so let the chaos crafting begin!
